Beta terms
These terms govern the use of the hosted beta of Fractaloom run by [Operator name]. Text in square brackets is a placeholder the operator replaces with their own legal wording before inviting an organization.
The service
[Operator name] provides your organization with access to a hosted instance of Fractaloom for the duration of the beta, free of charge, to evaluate it on your own data. The service is provided as is, without a service level and without warranty; it may change, pause or end with [14] days' notice, and sooner if its security or that of another organization requires it.
What your organization undertakes
- You connect only systems and content you are entitled to share with the service, and you have the authority to grant the access the Connect flow asks for.
- You inform the people of your organization who will sign in that their questions, notes and account data are processed as the privacy notice describes.
- You do not put secrets (keys, passwords, tokens) in the content you connect or in the notes you write; the service reads what you connect as it is.
- You do not try to reach another organization's data, test the service's security without written agreement, or use it for a purpose other than evaluating it.
- You name an administrator who is our contact for the beta and who can act on permission questions within a working day.
What we undertake
- To process your data only to provide the service and to investigate problems you report, as the privacy notice describes, and never to train a model on it.
- To keep each organization's data separate and to enforce the permissions of your source systems on every query.
- To tell your administrator within [72] hours if we learn of a security incident that affects your data.
- To delete your organization's data at the end of the beta or on request, and to confirm it in writing.
Feedback and case study
Feedback you give (wrong-answer reports, notes, the benchmark questions you write) may be used to improve the product. With your written agreement we may quote the numbers of your beta, never its content, in a case study.
Liability
[Limitation of liability clause.] Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the applicable law.
